Photo Gallery Connects Remote Employees During Pandemic
Challenge
A global clinical research organization wanted to enhance employee engagement, connect people and show leadership empathy/support for the remote workforce during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Actions
The client and SPI Group collaborated to:
- develop, design and project manage a photo gallery of employees’ new “workday;”
- create six categories for photos – home, family, work, pets, motivation and inspiration;
- provide editorial support.
SPI suggested our teammates prepopulate the gallery with submissions from company leaders ahead of the official launch. Executives loved the gallery idea and sent their photos and captions. One commented the gallery was “a great way to showcase employees working from home in a fun, interactive way.”
Results
Page views totaled 1,025 ten days after launch. Nearly 200 submissions have been received from a global audience. The gallery continues to thrive seven months after launch with unique page views totaling more than 10,000. The client was so happy with the response they launched a holiday edition of the gallery to allow colleagues to share how they safely celebrated the holidays.
